Proxy, the AI Agent for Everyday Life

Imagine if you had a digital clone to do your tasks for you. Well, meet Proxy…

Last week, Convergence, the London based AI start-up revealed Proxy to the world, the first general AI Agent.

Users are asking things like “Book my trip to Paris and find a restaurant suitable for an interview” or “Order a grocery delivery for me with a custom weekly meal plan”.

You can train it how you choose, so all Proxy’s are different, and personalised to how you teach it. The more you teach it, the more it learns about your personal work flows and begins to automate them.

At AI Quick Bytes, my passion for artificial intelligence isn’t just about algorithms and data—it’s about making the complex simple, the future tangible, and empowering you to lead strategically in the implementation and scaling of AI in the Enterprise. Every week, I pour my heart and soul into crafting concise, insightful content that keeps you on the cutting edge of AI trends, tools, and strategies, all with a sprinkle of humor to keep things light and engaging.

Here's what caught my eye in the world of AI this week:

  1. Learn Generative AI in 15 Days

Love to hear what you think about the above training. It is free and from Armand Ruiz VP of Product - AI Platform @IBM.

  1. Since I began writing this newsletter, no idea has resonated more deeply, shaping my understanding of AI and its sweeping implications for humanity in the 21st century. This insight, has profoundly altered my vision of where we are headed and the forces that will reshape our lives, societies, and very sense of self.

  1. ML and LLM system design: 450 case studies to learn from

How do companies like Netflix, Airbnb, and Doordash apply AI to improve their products and processes? Evidently AI put together a database of 450 case studies from 100+ companies that share practical ML use cases, including applications built with LLMs and Generative AI, and learnings from designing ML and LLM systems.

I'm 100% aligned with Sam Altman's vision for the future of AI. His perspective is both inspiring and deeply thought-provoking. In his latest post, Sam talks about the incredible potential of AI to bring about prosperity that seems unimaginable today—much like how none of us wish we were lamplighters anymore. AI will push humanity forward into a new era where our capabilities are amplified beyond anything we can fathom.

Want to know more about what Sam thinks? Dive into his short post on his personal blog and share your thoughts: How do you feel about the future he envisions?

  1. Friday Funnies 🤣

I recently came across a new startup called Cove.AI, and I have to say, it's a real game changer. Unlike traditional AI interfaces, which remind me of the old DOS prompt days, Cove.AI takes user interaction to a whole new level. It’s intuitive, fast, and designed to make complex tasks easier. For example, I was prepping for a talk at the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey and wanted to show in real time to student how quickly I could create a 10-year project plan for building an aircraft carrier. I decided to test out Cove.AI - It suggested intelligent prompts for budget estimation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, allowing me to explore and expand on different aspects seamlessly.

What really impressed me was how quickly and efficiently Cove.AI worked. In under two minutes, I had a high-level plan with visual breakdowns, strategies, and even communication frameworks. Normally, this would take hours or days, to put together. The fact that I could start with a basic outline and then drill down into specifics with just a few clicks showed me how powerful this tool is. Cove.AI transforms project planning into an interactive and engaging process, making it a must-have for anyone tackling large-scale, long-term projects.
